Author’s presentations are “fun, engaging, entertaining, educational”

DIANA STARESINIC-DEANE, manager of the Old Depot Museum, recently provided some feedback regarding author Rod Beemer’s presentation for the Frankilin County Historical Society program in Ottawa, Kansas.

Did the program meet your expecations?

Yes! We were hoping for a fun, engaging, entertaining, educational program, and you delivered!

Was it too long or too short?

You were right on track in terms of time. However, I don’t think anyone would have minded if you had gone on a bit longer — the audience was really engaged and would have kept listening. (That’s not always the case.)

Would you recommend the program to others?

Absolutely! Your program is thoughtful, visually interesting, and delivered in a fun and accessible manner. Your topic is one that will appeal to self-described history enthusiasts as well as a general audience.

Any additional comments?

I think everyone in that room learned a lot, laughed a lot, and probably went home talking about some of the things you shared that day. You gave a great program, and we definitely don’t regret hosting you! I look forward to seeing what you write next!
